Introducing the 2005 Hunter Legend 33, a stunning cruiser that perfectly blends performance and comfort. Rigging and Sails:

The main and Genoa sails are original but have been professionally serviced and washed.  This was last completed in 2024 by Stephenson Sails at Noss on Dart marina.  The running rigging is washed every year and replaced as necessary,  The most recent replacements include the main sheet in 2025 and the head sail reefing line in 2026.  The main halyard was upgraded to Dynema in 2022.  Reef 2 was replaced in 2022.  The standing rigging will be 10 years old in 2027.

Engine and Drive system:

The engine is a Yanmar3YM20 and has been professionally serviced by Yanmar engineers ie:  Cutler Marine while we were resident in the Solent and AK marine services at Noss on Dart marina.  A new engine hour meter was installed by AK Marine in. 2024.  The sail drive was removed and serviced with a new diaphragm fitted in October 2018.  This included new shaft drive seals fitted.  A new heat exchanger has also been installed.  New hull and sail drive anodes fitted in 2026.

Hull and Keel Treatment:

Whimbrel has been regularly anti-fouled every season.  All anti-foul was fully stripped back and the hull epoxied in 2021.  The hull and topsides have been regularly polished.  The condition of the keels and keel bolts are good.

Electronics and Navigation:

Over £14,000 spent in October 2022 by Knight Marine on the Hamble upgrading the navigation systems.  This included:

New Garmin VHF radio with remote plug in handset which enables full function of the VHF radio at the helm

Victron energy 360 W fixed solar panel above the cockpit

2 flexible portable solar panels 130 W (each panel)

Sterling 1.6 KW mains inverter

2 lithium house batteries fitted

AIS transciever

Victron energy mains battery charger for lithium batteries
