Moody - 333
Moody 333 for sale. Built in 1982. Designed by Angus Primrose, the Moody 333 was the final version of the long-running Moody range based on the same 33 ft hull moulding. The Moody 333, built from around 1981 to 1983, differs from the earlier Mk I and Mk II 33s primarily in having an aft cabin accessible from the saloon, with a proper double berth in place of the two singles on the 33s. The 333 also features much better quality interior finishing than the previous 33 models, with real wood veneers in place of the very practical but less attractive timber-effect laminates used in most 33s. This, plus the convenience of the walkthrough to the aft cabin, means that Moody 333s generally sell for considerably more than similarly aged and sized 33s Despite their excellent accommodation, the Moody 33 and 333s sail very well, one of the earlier Moody 33s having been taken straight off the production line and sailed to 4th place in the Azores and Back Race in 1975. Hulls were moulded to Lloyds construction standards, by Marine Projects Ltd., and finished by Moodys. Additional Inventory
